Hey my name is Jackson Pranikoff and I'm a student at the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, majoring in International Politics and African Studies. Africa is my thing - when I'm not playing sports, napping or watching my New Orleans Saints win football games - I love to read and write about what's up on the African continent. I've found that there is a serious lack of blogs and websites devoted to the analysis of African affairs, especially compared to "hotter" regions like the Middle East or Asia.
